Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients:
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen ravioli (beef, cheese, or your favorite variety)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- cooking spray or olive oil spray
- warm marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- If using frozen ravioli, allow them to thaw slightly for about 15–20 minutes. In a shallow bowl, pour the buttermilk. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Dip each ravioli into the buttermilk, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so the coating sticks.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place coated ravioli in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding. Lightly spray the tops with more oil.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Work in batches if needed.
- Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, freeze the breaded ravioli for 10 minutes before air frying.
- You can also use panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.
- This recipe works well with both meat and cheese-filled ravioli.
