Main Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)

- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- Make the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg. Form into meatballs and bake for 15-18 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce: In a saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
- Coat the meatballs: Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce until coated. Garnish and serve over rice or noodles.
