Dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (plus extra for greasing)
Filling:
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped pickled jalapeños or fresh red chilli
Garlic Butter:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Dough Preparation: In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add warm water and olive oil; mix into a dough. Knead on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Assembly: Preheat oven to 375°F. Divide dough, flatten each piece, add mozzarella and jalapeños, seal, and roll into balls. Place in a baking dish.
- Garlic Butter: Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt. Brush over dough balls. Bake for 20–22 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Brush with remaining garlic butter and serve warm.
