  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Egg and Vanilla: Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Stir in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Shape and Bake: Divide the dough in half and shape each portion into a long, flat rectangle on the baking sheet. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until lightly golden and set.
  7. Cut into Sticks: Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then slice each rectangle into sticks while still warm. Cool completely before serving.
