Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Prepare the cake: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk, then divide batter between pans and bake for 25–30 minutes.
