  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a shallow dish, mix flour with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up browned bits. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and capers. Reduce heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
