Ingredients
Scale
Banana Chips:
- 2 large ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds about 1/8 inch thick.
- Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Coat the Banana Slices: Brush banana slices lightly with melted coconut oil on both sides. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the slices.
- Air Fry: Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Cool and Store: Remove from the basket and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- For extra crunch, use slightly underripe bananas.
- You can swap coconut oil for butter or avocado oil.
- Adjust the sugar-cinnamon ratio to taste, or use a sugar substitute for a lower-sugar snack.
