Description

These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a delightful combination of sweet, crispy, and totally snackable. Made with just a few simple ingredients, they are a healthier alternative to traditional fried snacks.

Banana Chips:

  • 2 large ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Coat the Banana Slices: Brush banana slices lightly with melted coconut oil on both sides. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the slices.
  4. Air Fry: Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  5. Cool and Store: Remove from the basket and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

  • For extra crunch, use slightly underripe bananas.
  • You can swap coconut oil for butter or avocado oil.
