Instructions
- Heat Milk Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine milk and heavy cream. Warm gently until steaming, but not boiling.
- Add Chocolate Mixture: Add chopped dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth, about 3–5 minutes.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Pour into mugs and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
