- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Additional:
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked white rice (or brown rice)

Instructions
- Cook the Beef: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- Prepare Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch. Pour over beef, simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Finish and Serve: Stir in green onions, serve beef over rice with steamed veggies. Garnish with remaining green onions and sesame seeds.
