Instructions
- Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook onions until caramelized, then add sugar and balsamic vinegar. Let cool.
- Prepare the Sausage Filling: Mix sausage with thyme, garlic powder, black pepper, Dijon mustard, and caramelized onions. Add Gruyère cheese.
- Assemble the Rolls: Preheat oven. Cut puff pastry into rectangles, place sausage mixture on each, roll up, and cut into pieces. Brush with egg wash and garnish.
