Cool off with these refreshing Fresh Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies. A delightful blend of tropical pineapple and sweet strawberries, perfect for a hot summer day.

Frozen Pineapple Layer:

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (frozen)
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey (optional)

Strawberry Layer:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (frozen)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey (optional)

Additional:

  • Extra strawberries and pineapple wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Frozen Pineapple Layer: In a blender, combine the frozen pineapple, 1/4 cup pineapple juice, half the lime juice, and half the honey. Blend until smooth and slushy. Transfer to a bowl and place in the freezer while you make the strawberry layer.
  2. Strawberry Layer: Rinse the blender, then add frozen strawberries, orange juice, remaining lime juice, and honey. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  3. In tall glasses, alternate spoonfuls of pineapple and strawberry mixtures to create a swirl effect.
  4. Serve immediately with a straw and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.

Notes

  • For a cocktail version, add a splash of rum or vodka to each fruit layer.
