Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and crumbled, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Prepare the Gravy: Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture, stir well, and cook for 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the beef broth until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
- Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve the beef and gravy over mashed potatoes. Garnish with parsley if desired.
