These Jack-o-Lantern Cheese Quesadillas are a fun and easy Halloween snack for kids. Made with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, these spooky quesadillas are perfect for a festive celebration.

Ingredients for Jack-o-Lantern Cheese Quesadillas:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
- Optional: sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Quesadillas: Use a small paring knife or kitchen scissors to cut jack-o-lantern faces into two of the tortillas. Set them aside.
- Cook the Quesadillas: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or olive oil. Place one of the uncut tortillas in the skillet and sprinkle evenly with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Top with one of the cut-out tortillas. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove from heat and repeat with the remaining tortillas. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole on the side if desired.
Notes
- Get creative with the jack-o-lantern faces using different expressions!
- You can also add finely diced cooked chicken or black beans for extra protein.
