Main Meat Sauce:
- 1 (25-ounce) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
Cheese Mixture:
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cook ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic in a skillet. Add marinara sauce, season, and simmer.
- Mix Cheese Layer: Combine ricotta, sour cream, egg, and salt in a bowl.
- Assemble: Layer meat sauce, ravioli, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in the baking dish. Repeat layers and finish with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden. Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
