Main Meat Sauce:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce

Cheese Mixture:

  • 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cook ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic in a skillet. Add marinara sauce, season, and simmer.
  2. Mix Cheese Layer: Combine ricotta, sour cream, egg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Assemble: Layer meat sauce, ravioli, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in the baking dish. Repeat layers and finish with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden. Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
