Cookie Base:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups quick oats
Topping:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare Base: Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper. In a saucepan, combine butter, sugars, milk, cocoa, and salt. Boil, then cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla, then mix in oats. Spread in pan.
- Add Topping: Melt chocolate chips, pour over base, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve: Cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
- For a thicker chocolate layer, use up to 1½ cups of chocolate chips.
- You can add ½ cup shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture.
