Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Peanut Butter Cream Filling
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Additional
- 2-3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of 4-6 small jars, creating an even crust layer.
- Make the peanut butter cream: In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Whip the heavy cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the peanut butter mixture to create a light and fluffy cream filling.
- Assemble the jars: Place a layer of sliced bananas over the crust in each jar. Spoon a generous amount of the peanut butter cream over the bananas. Repeat the layers if desired, finishing with a layer of cream on top.
- Add toppings and chill: Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top if using. Refrigerate the jars for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, drizzle melted chocolate or caramel over the top before serving.
- Use firm, ripe bananas to prevent mushiness in the dessert.
- Assemble jars just before serving if preparing them in advance to keep bananas fresh.
