Description

These Peanut Butter Cheerio Bites are a simple and delicious no-bake snack that combines the nutty flavor of peanut butter with the sweetness of honey and the crunch of Cheerios. Perfect for a quick energy boost or a lunchbox treat!

Ingredients

Scale

Cheerio Bites:

  • 3 cups Honey Nut Cheerios

Peanut Butter Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the peanut butter and honey. Stir constantly until the mixture is melted and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  3. Pour the warm mixture over the Cheerios in a large mixing bowl and gently stir until all the cereal is evenly coated.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then use a spoon or your hands to form into bite-sized balls.
  5. Place the bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until firm.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • You can use plain Cheerios or substitute almond butter for a different flavor.
  • Add mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut for variety.
