Description

Indulge in the savory goodness of Roasted Garlic, Chicken & Herb White Pizza. This homemade delight features a flavorful white sauce infused with roasted garlic, tender chicken, a blend of herbs, and gooey cheeses, all baked to perfection on a golden crust.


Ingredients

Pizza Dough:

1 pound pizza dough,

Roasted Garlic Sauce:

1 whole garlic bulb, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, ¾ cup evaporated milk, ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese, salt and black pepper to taste,

Toppings:

1 cup cooked shredded chicken breast, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup diced red onion, 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, cornmeal for dusting


Instructions

  1. Roast Garlic: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft.
  2. Make Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, squeeze roasted garlic into the pan, and mash. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in evaporated milk, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  3. Prepare Pizza: Roll out pizza dough on a cornmeal-dusted baking sheet. Spread roasted garlic sauce on dough. Top with chicken, mozzarella, red onion. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 15–18 minutes.
  4. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle with thyme, oregano, and parsley. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of evaporated milk.
  • Spinach or caramelized onions make great additional toppings.
