  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Onions: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until soft and golden, about 10–12 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add sautéed onions and chives. Pour in warm water and melted butter. Knead for 8–10 minutes or use a stand mixer for 5–6 minutes.
  3. Rise and Bake: Let the dough rise for 1 hour until doubled. Shape into a loaf, let rise again for 30–40 minutes. Bake at 375°F for 30–35 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
