- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the meat: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown the ground lamb. Add onion, garlic, carrots, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables soften.
- Add seasonings: Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and beef broth. Simmer until thickened. Mix in peas and remove from heat.
- Assemble: Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes, creating a textured surface with a fork.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
