Steak Bites:
- 2 pounds sirloin or chuck steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Additional:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites in batches for 1–2 minutes until browned on all sides. Transfer the browned steak to the slow cooker.
- Mix the Seasonings: In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Pour the mixture over the steak bites and stir to coat. Add the butter on top.
- Cook in Slow Cooker: Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the steak is tender. Stir gently and garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, deglaze the skillet with a splash of beef broth and add it to the slow cooker.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or with roasted vegetables.
