Ingredients
Scale
Cheese Blend
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Vegetables & Spices
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
- Prepare cheese mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, shredded Parmesan, thawed and drained spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix thoroughly to evenly distribute all ingredients.
- Form crisps: Spoon small mounds of the cheese and spinach mixture onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Be sure to space them apart to allow for spreading and crisping during baking.
- Bake crisps: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese crisps turn golden brown and are crispy around the edges.
- Cool and serve: Remove the crisps from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving, allowing them to firm up and maximize crispiness.
Notes
- Make sure to drain spinach thoroughly to avoid soggy crisps.
- Red pepper flakes are optional; omit or adjust amount for milder flavor.
- Use fresh-grated cheese for best melting and texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
