Description

Refreshing and vibrant Triple Berry Lemonade combines fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries with tangy lemon juice and just the right amount of sweetness. This easy no-cook recipe is perfect for a hot summer day and serves 8 people.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

Other Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold filtered water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Berries: Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with a clean towel. Slice the larger strawberries into quarters to release more flavor and make them easy to enjoy in the drink.
  2. Juice the Lemons: Cut the lemons in half and juice them until you collect about 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp for a smooth lemonade base.
  3. Mix Lemon Juice and Sugar: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice with 3/4 cup of granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved, creating a sweet and tart lemonade base.
  4. Add Berries and Water: Add the prepared berries to the pitcher along with 4 cups of cold filtered water. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients without crushing the berries.
  5. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice, according to your preference.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least one hour to let the flavors meld and serve over ice. Garnish each glass with extra fresh berries or lemon slices for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar quantity to taste if you prefer a less sweet or more tart lemonade.
  • For a sparkling version, substitute cold filtered water with sparkling water or club soda.
  • Use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
  • This lemonade is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Optional: Add a few mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.
