How to Store, Freeze & Reheat

These parfaits are perfect for parties—serve them in clear cups for a beautiful presentation, and top with a sprig of mint or a dusting of powdered sugar. They’re also great for meal prep: make them on Sunday and grab one for a quick dessert all week.

Store any leftovers in the fridge, covered, for up to 3 days. The graham layers will soften over time, but that’s not a bad thing—it becomes more like a cheesecake trifle. I don’t recommend freezing them, as the texture changes. For best crunch, add fresh crumbs just before serving.

🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and beat until stiff peaks form; set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until well coated.
  4. To assemble: in six glasses or jars, layer the graham cracker mixture, then the cheesecake filling, then a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat layers, ending with a sprinkle of graham crumbs on top.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to set. Serve chilled, garnished with extra berries if desired.

👩🍳 Chef Elena’s Kitchen Notes & Storage

For a lighter version, swap the heavy cream for an equal amount of Greek yogurt—it adds protein and tang. These parfaits keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, but the graham layers may soften; store them uncovered for the crispiest texture.
