How to Store, Freeze & Reheat

These cups are best eaten within a day, but they’ll stay good in the fridge for up to 48 hours. The cookies will soften over time, which some folks love—it becomes almost like a trifle. If you want to keep the crunch, store the crumbs separately and add them right before serving.

For serving, present them on a tray with a few extra berries scattered around for color. You can also make a big batch in a trifle dish instead of individual cups—just double the recipe and layer it in a bowl. Reheating isn’t needed; just pull them out of the fridge 10 minutes before enjoying.

🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the milk and instant pudding mix for 2 minutes until thickened. Gently fold in half of the whipped cream to lighten the pudding.
  3. Spoon a layer of crushed cookies into the bottom of each cup (about 1 heaping tablespoon).
  4. Pipe or spoon the pudding mixture over the cookies, filling each cup halfway. Add a few berries, then top with the remaining pudding.
  5. Finish with a dollop of the reserved whipped cream and a berry on top. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best texture.

👩🍳 Chef Elena’s Kitchen Notes & Storage

For a quick swap, use Greek yogurt instead of pudding for a tangier, protein-packed filling. Store covered in the fridge for up to 2 days—but they're best enjoyed within 24 hours so the cookies stay crisp.
