How to Store, Freeze & Reheat

These brownies are fantastic on their own, but for a real treat, serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of extra caramel sauce. They also make a great addition to holiday cookie trays—just cut them into small squares for easy sharing.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. For longer storage, wrap individual brownies in plastic wrap and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature or pop in the microwave for 15 seconds for that fresh-from-the-oven feel.

Outrageous Snickers Brownies

These outrageously fudgy brownies are loaded with chopped Snickers bars, caramel swirls, and a crackly top—a chewy, gooey, chocolatey indulgence that tastes like a candy bar in dessert form.

🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy lifting.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each, then stir in the vanilla.
  3. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture. Fold gently with a spatula until just combined—do not overmix.
  4. Fold in half of the chopped Snickers bars and all the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter. Sprinkle the remaining Snickers pieces on top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter). Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into 16 squares.

👩🍳 Chef Elena’s Kitchen Notes & Storage

For cleaner slices, chill the brownies for 30 minutes before cutting—this keeps the caramel and Snickers from pulling too much. You can make these a day ahead; they actually taste better the next day as the flavors meld. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
