How to Store, Freeze & Reheat

These brownies are amazing warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but they’re just as good at room temperature. For a bakery-style presentation, cut them into neat squares and dust with a little powdered sugar.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months—just wrap each brownie in plastic wrap and then foil. Thaw at room temperature or pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds for a fresh-from-the-oven feel.

🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy lifting.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, then scatter half the chopped Snickers and half the peanuts over the top. Drizzle with half the caramel sauce. Pour the remaining batter over, then top with the rest of the Snickers, peanuts, and caramel. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely in the pan before lifting out and cutting into squares.

👩🍳 Chef Elena’s Kitchen Notes & Storage

For extra gooey brownies, let them cool for just 15 minutes before cutting—they'll be more indulgent. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months (wrap well).
